Barbara Bush Wants Sarah Palin To Stay In Alaska

You know, I’ve always liked Barbara Bush:

(CNN) – Sarah Palin may not have the biggest fan in former first lady Barbara Bush.

“I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful,” Barbara Bush said. “And she’s very happy in Alaska, and I hope she’ll stay there.”

Barbara Bush Wants Sarah Palin To Stay In Alaska
Did it ever dawn on you Libs that all these Repubs speaking out against Gov Palin may have an ulterior motive – Like having a another favored candidate in the race. In other words, did it occur to you that Barbara Bush is saying this because she still believes Jeb Bush is viable as a Presidential candidate in 2012, and would prefer Gov Palin stay in Alaska to allow her son to have a clear path to the nomination, if he decides to run.
I noticed you posted the other day that Mona Charon’s negative comments about Palin was indicative of a widespread dislike for the former Alaska Gov (I think you used the term going “viral”), without pointing out to your readers that Mona Charon has a favored candidate in the race, Mitch Daniels.
It’s one thing to have a bias and to want Gov Palin to leave the stage without getting a chance to prove her mettle. It’s another thing to withhold info from your readers, to push a meme or bias, that suggests Repubs criticizing her have ulterior motives such as another preferred candidate in the race.
