    If I may add another performer here. I saw a British singer in Frankfurt, Germany in 1969. His name is Barry Ryan and his biggest hit was “Eloise.” It became number two in Britain at the time and number one in other countries. He also had a number of other hits. Don’t think any of the songs made it to the states. He had a twin brother who died of cancer a few years ago, Paul Ryan. Paul co-wrote a song for Frank Sinatra.

    And here is the song “Eloise.”

    It was perhaps 3-4 years ago. We were vacationing in LA. The hotel was walking distance to the Whiskey; can’t remember the name.

    She was staying there and we saw her at breakfast. Well preserved.
