I like the chiaroscuro effect, but may I ask why you chose black and white?
That’s some really high shutter speed.
@CSK: Thanks and I think the fact that the head and eyes were already somewhat obscured I tried B&W (which I just like in general).
@Kathy: 1/3200. This camera is also really good at higher ISO, in this case, 6400 which helped with the light.
Very nice; particularly like the framing of the bird in the brighter oval behind it.
