Ann Coulter explains why she’s not a fan of the late Princess Di: “”I find it a little baffling when Americans get so gaga-eyed over a princess. In particular Lady Di, who was just this anorexic, bulimic narcissist.”

HuffPo (“Ann Coulter Calls Princess Diana ‘Anorexic, Bulimic Narcissist’“):

Ann Coulter has some harsh words for the late Princess Diana. The conservative commentator raised some eyebrows in a new interview with “The Insider” co-host Kevin Frazier. “I find it a little baffling when Americans get so gaga-eyed over a princess. In particular Lady Di, who was just this anorexic, bulimic narcissist,” Coulter said.

Coulter, who was promoting her new book “Demonic: How The Liberal Mob Is Endangering America”, has professed contempt for Diana and the Royal Family before. In April, Coulter appeared on “The O’Reilly Factor” to call the late princess a “nitwit hussy” and said of the Royal Wedding: “It’s totally embarrassing Americans cared about that.”

Also: Di lacked self-awareness and a sense of irony.

Who cares what Ann Coulter says? She is just a long-form shock jock, who says things that are calculated to annoy some people or others and bring attention to herself. Don’t feed the disease…

  2. I’ve never gotten the people fawn over Princess Diana, but neither do I get the people who rage over her.

Once again, Coulter displays her talent for taking a legitimate point and stating it in the least classy way possible.

  3. Is it possible to be an “anorexic bulimic”?

  4. mike says:

isn’t that exactly what coulter is? she needs to put on about 20lbs and a bag over her head and she might start looking good.

  5. lankyloo says:

I’ve heard of beating a dead horse, but never a horse beating a dead person…

  6. Davebo says:

Say what you will about the late Princess Dianna but at least, unlike Coulter:

    A: she wasn’t anorexic.

B: she owned more than one dress.

  7. Gustopher says:

Huh. I had forgotten Ann Coulter existed.

Do people still care about what she has to say?

  8. anjin-san says:

Desperately seeking relevancy… probably a doomed effort.

  9. Hey Norm says:

I cut some cedar posts today that were more shapely, better looking, and smarter than Coulter.

  10. An Interested Party says:

In other news today, Rush Limbaugh called Michael Moore a “fat blowhard”…

  11. Mia Michaels says:

Ann Coulter’s vile verbiage that she spews every time she opens her mouth. Her personal attack of a disabled veterans, homosexuals, minorities, economically disadvantaged and anyone that does not support her delusional rhetoric, goes far beyond one’s personal political beliefs, selling books and moves directly into the sphere of progressive mental deterioration of a narcissist!

    @Tano:
The problem becomes her racist views on various cultures.

  13. Cynic in NY says:

Looks like little Ms. Neocon is attempting to make sure she is still relevant again. (yawn) Wake me when she actual does something meaningful.

  14. A voice from another precinct says:

The visual effect of seeing Ann Coulter calling someone anorexic is priceless. Expect to see this on Jon Stewart or Colbert soon!

Coulter is indeed low hanging fruit. And yet, not so fruity.

    That sucks.

    Greetings:

On the one hand, there’s the “Now, girls, please remember you’re both victims of the same oppression.” reaction.

But then, on the other hand, there’s more than a bit of resemblance between Princess Diana’s second son and her riding (no, seriously) instructor which the media seems unable to recognize.

  17. “And Santa Claus is just a pagan representation of Christ’s birth! That prick!”

  18. Murray says:

    @Doug Mataconis:

Not only is it possible but it’s common for anorexics to suffer from bouts of bulimia. It makes a bad situation catastrophic because the patients force themselves to throw-up what they eat which further ravages their digestive system.

All the little girls who wanted to be princesses grew up to love Di and any Royalty. I blame Disney.

But Kate is HOT unlike Di.
