    msnbc??? Please.

  2. Trumwill says:

Wallace is notable for being the handler that dealt with Palin most closely, and also for having no regrets about not having voted for the campaign that she worked for.

  3. Smooth Jazz says:

I just stopped by to see how you were dealing with the PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) obsession today, and whaddya know: Like clockwork, you hive up another Palin Hater without providing context for your readers.

You are obviously obsessed with Gov Palin so you should know, I suspect, that Gov Palin and Nicole Wallace have a long running feud going back to when Wallace set up the former Alaska Gov (according to Gov Palin) to be ambushed by Katie Couric. It would be great if you alerted your readers to the fact that Nicole Wallace and Gov Palin have a lot of animosity towards each other going back to the 2008 when Nicole was on Senator McCain’s campaign staff. Let’s look on the bright side: If you seek out Palin Haters on McCain’s campaign staff, you will be able to continue your daily fill of Palin hit pieces indefinitely.

The other thing I notice about this site: Comments from well known Dems that compliment Gov Palin and believe she can win (ie Former President Carter, Former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich and former DNC Chair Howard Dean) get totally ignored. Hmmmmm??? I guess they do not conform to your bias and the left wing meme so they don’t see daylight on your site.

All we seem to get on this site are all the snarky put downs from the Palin Haters a la left wing sites like Huff Post, DailyKOS, etc.  Nope, this site isn’t a far left wing blog; It just “acts” like one.

  4. Herb says:

    “msnbc??? Please.”

Yeah, because when Nicole Wallace shows up on Joe Scarborough’s show, you can pretty much dismiss it as lefty propaganda by virtue of being on MSNBC…..

“the PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) obsession today”

    Drink!

  5. epistorese says:

@ Smooth Jazz, if what you say is true–and I have no reason to disbelieve you–then I congratualate Ms. Wallace for taking the high road.  And, I think that she is probably right; as Palin continues to bask in her 15 minutes, extended, of fame, she will show who she is.  People like you will continue to laud her for “sticking it” to people and people like me will still wonder what the attraction is.  Whoever the majority is will probably decide the final outcome–maybe as early as the primaries.

  6. anjin-san says:

    >  You are obviously obsessed with Gov Palin

You are obviously obsessed with Doug. Seek therapy.

  7. Kylopod says:

It apparently hasn’t occurred to Palin supporters like Smooth Jazz that some Democrats are pumping Sarah Palin up in the hopes that she’ll be nominated. And saying she “can win” isn’t saying much. Just because she has the potential to win doesn’t change the overwhelming evidence that it would be a lot harder for her to win than any of her chief rivals for the Republican nomination (with the possible exception of Gingrich). Her high negatives in the polls are probably unprecedented for a prospective presidential contender. Has any person with 55% disapproval ever gone on to win the presidency? Has any candidate considered unqualified by the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of her own party, ever gone on to win the presidency?

  8. Smooth Jazz says:

<You are obviously obsessed with Doug. Seek therapy.>

And you are obviously obsessed with me, so may I suggest you seek therapy as well.
My problem is Doug’s duplicity – ie not sharing relevant information with his readers so they can decide for themselves the merits of the criticism in question.

  9. Lets break it down here. If Palin wins the GOP nomination for President in 2012, Barack Obama will be re-elected by such a huge margin, it will be a recreation of Reagan’s 1984 electoral performance.
    Just saying.

  10. Herb says:

“My problem is Doug’s duplicity – ie not sharing relevant information with his readers so they can decide for themselves the merits of the criticism in question.”

Wait, the information about the feud?  Let me ask: Who hasn’t feuded with Palin?

If a disclosure was required on every post about her various feuds, every post about Sarah Palin would be little more than a list of disclosed feuds.

  11. john personna says:

I guess it’s kind of funny.  I think that a Palin presidency would be so awful, that I’m actually willing to give the Republicans good advice to avoid it.

My advice is to get her out of the race early, so that your primary is not confused and distorted by Palin mania, and yeah, PDS.

What you want come 2012 is someone smart, educated, capable, proven, the whole 9 yards.  Find yourself a mult-term governor or senator who has also had some business success.

Or are you worried there aren’t any?

  12. Frank says:

I’ll say this about palin she’s almost as cute as tina fey and getting to be damn near as funny.

And there’s something to be said about that…

you repubs should run her for sure.

  13. mantis says:

when Wallace set up the former Alaska Gov (according to Gov Palin) to be ambushed by Katie Couric.

Ambushed by totally appropriate and relevant questions for a Vice Presidential candidate!  How dare she?

Hey Kenny G, riddle me this: if Palin is as smart and capable as you say, why can’t she handle a simple interview with a reporter?  Did they drug her beforehand?  Hypnosis?

It would be great if you alerted your readers to the fact that Nicole Wallace and Gov Palin have a lot of animosity towards each other going back to the 2008 when Nicole was on Senator McCain’s campaign staff

The fact that Wallace worked on the campaign is what makes her comments compelling, dufus.  Maybe this is a new standard for the Palin fap crowd: the opinions of people who have experience working with Palin should be dismissed because those people have experience working with Palin.
