Gary Farber Needs Your Help

gary-farberLongtime blogger Gary Farber is in really bad straits and could use whatever help you can provide.

Regular readers of his blog know he’s been sick for years — decades, really — with a whole host of issues, most critically “lifelong severe clinical depression, and panic/anxiety disorders to the point of almost complete disability.”

He put off applying for Social Security disability much too long and, as is almost invariably the case, has now been denied subject to appeal. That, of course, takes time, money, and a sense of calm and optimism that someone in his condition doesn’t have.

Meanwhile, he’s been evicted from his apartment.

So, help if you can.

But at least we don’t have that awful socialistic government health care so that people like him might have been able to get help earlier. Because libertarian ideological purity is always more important than human lives.
