12 Days of Photos: Day 2
A photo from February: Alan Parsons Live Project.
In looking through my shots from February, nothing sticks out to me photographically, so I will go with a memory to tip the scales (and a photo I do like, albeit it one from my phone). In February I ticked off a bucket-list item: seeing one of my favorite musical groups, the Alan Parson Live Project in Atlanta (I have wanted to see them perform for decades). We were supposed to see them in 2021 (October) but Covid had other plans.
“Alan Parsons Live Project”

PJ Olsson takes center stage. Nifty lights and great seats meant a cool photo, even with just an iPhone.
It was a great show!
“A cool photo” indeed!
Every time I see a photo of a group from the time when I still bought records, I think, “God we’re sooooo old.” This one is no exception, but thanks for the memory just the same.”
@Just nutha ignint cracker: Not to reinforce the point too much, but the audience was definitely of a certain age category.

@Steven L. Taylor:
While at Casa Luddite, my first thought in the morning when I look in the mirror is, “whoa, that ain’t right!” What???
In our youth we were told to live fast, die young, and leave a good looking corpse. Obviously this plan didn’t survive first contact with the enemy.
But thanks for the memories. Nicely done!
@Steven L. Taylor: Even in the age category, I’d be a geezer, just not the only one. But I had the same flash at my Covid-delayed 50-year HS reunion/celebration of our 70th birthdays.
Looks like an album cover.
