Consecutive Integer Day
On the East Coast, it is about to be 12:34:56 on 7/8/09.
I’m pretty sure this has no significance whatsoever but it’s mildly interesting.

And in a few years it will 12:34:56.789 on 10/11/12, but only for the briefest of instants.
The time and date format is a little silly to achieve this contrivance.
You start with a medium-sized unit known as the hour, then shrink to minutes and further still to seconds, then jump way up to a fairly big unit the month, then back down to a day, then up to a year. Not to mention we’re dropping several digits from the year.
But on the other hand, if it makes people happy …
