A Photo for Friday (on Saturday)

"25 Shiny Pennies All in a Pile"

It has been a while since I moved the PfF to Saturday, but I think I did forget altogether a few weeks back. In honor of Presidents Day, here is a shot from a counting project I did in January:

    “ONE CENT” takes the foreground. That’s a metaphor for something, but just what I haven’t figured out yet.

    Nice focus. Questions abound…
    Did you just toss them down this way?
    If not, how long did you spend setting up the pose and framing?
    Ditto on lighting.
    You’ve got me seriously nerding out on this one! Details, man!!!

    A penny for your thoughts?

  4. @CSK: I will leave that to the interpretation of the beholder.

    @Flat Earth Luddite: I dumped them in a pile, but did make sure all the backs were up, save for the one. I wasn’t especially purposeful in the arrangement, save the middle one and the one that is face up.

    The lighting is from my desk lamp.

    @Mister Bluster: Indeed.
