Christine O’Donnell Calls Karl Rove Attack “Unfactual,” Rove Attacks Again

As I noted earlier today, Karl Rove ripped into Christine O’Donnell less than an hour after her victory had become apparent. This morning, Christine O’Donnell responded:

The Republican nominee for the Delaware Senate seat fired back at Karl Rove today for what she called “un-factual” accusations about her record.

“Everything that he is saying is un-factual. And it’s a shame because he is the same so-called political guru that predicted I wasn’t going to win. And we won and we won big,” Christine O’Donnell told me this morning. “So I think, again, he is eating some humble pie and he is just trying to restore his reputation.”

Earlier this afternoon, Rove doubled down on his criticism of O’Donnell:

I’m no Rove fan, and in the interests of accuracy it should be pointed out that Rove apparently was doing some behind the scenes campaigning for Castle. Nonetheless, this is just another example of how divisive this primary was inside the GOP, and perhaps an indication that the wounds won’t be quick to heal.

Rove is not that lucky to get a three way with Palin and O’Donnell.  That would be a lot better than anyway with Pelosi and Boxer.  You dems do like them ugly!

    “Un-factual”?  Well….she sure refudiated him!

I’m enjoying every minute of it.  Serves them all right for cynically creating the Palin ascendancy….can’t wait to see how all the moderate right of center folks feel about the wingnut candidate brigade at voting time.

Zels, I agree with you 100%.
    /You win, this time.

Rove was the guy who shrieked “don’t touch me” when the mildly talented but very attractive Sherl Crow lighlty touched his arm. For sure he is not 2 on 1 fast break material. Typical wingnut…
