COLOR SCHEME

Steven Taylor of PoliBlog says OTB appears in shades of blue on one of his home computers that otherwise seems to display colors properly. It has shown up in shades of beige with maroon highlights on both my computers since the blogspot days.

Is anyone else getting the shades of blue?

According to my CSS, my colors are:

    background: #F2F1E9
    table sidebars: #EBE9DD
    date divider: #660000
    posting area: #ffffff

Ah, yes, when people comment on how lovely our den is, I tell them that we intentionally chose the shade #EBE9DD to coordinate with the teak furniture.

    Exactly!

It’s one of my favorites–very neutral. I say, if you want a splash of color, do it with the accessories.

  3. Jane Galt says:

I too am getting shades of blue at work, except at top, which is still maroon.

  4. James Joyner says:

    Bizarre.

  5. Kathy K says:

That is bizarre. I wonder if they are both using the same OS and browser?

That is bizarre. I wonder if they are both using the same OS and browser? I can’t figure out anything that would do that except a browser override of some sort.

In Opera, I could make you look like what Jane’s seeing by using a ‘personal’ stylesheet with your styles and blue shades (the banner would still be the same).

  7. Kathy K says:

Sorry… didn’t think it had taken my first post and then decided to add some. Ooops!

    James-

I was going to type but I got lazy.

1000 words… (That is on my slow network, sorry.)

    Paul

Everytime I go to a customer site and I have down time, I surf blogs. I never remember it looking unlike this.

    Paul,

Thanks. I’ve seen it on several computers and it’s always like in your PDF with minor variation.

Strange–I just have two reports of blueness. I don’t get it.
