END OF AN ERA

Apparently, the infamous Gold Club is to be no more:

The U.S. government Thursday is expected to finalize a $5.25 million deal to sell the property used by the Gold Club, the notorious Buckhead strip club linked to organized crime and shut down by federal prosecutors.
Under conditions of the sale, the property cannot be “developed, used or operated” as an adult entertainment establishment, including the sale of adult videos or any other adult entertainment. The 1.47-acre site at the intersection of Piedmont Road and Lindbergh Drive will be developed primarily as condominiums.

I’m sure this will put an end to adult entertainment once and for all.
