Worst Campaign Web Site Ever

It belongs to Mindy Meyer, “an Orthodox Jewish law student running against State Senator Kevin Parker on the Republican and Conservative Party lines.”

I suppose I should warn you that clicking on the link will cause what Mediate calls “an unstoppable throbbing house beat (literally, you can’t stop it)”

    Best. Campaign. Website. Ever.

Quicktime needs your permission to run on this site.

    Permission denied!

Her site has obviously been bedazzled by a 13-year old girl hacker!

  3. CSK says:

    Service Temporarily Unavailable, it says.

  4. Likely server overload from being linked by Sullivan

  5. legion says:

That throbbing is not a “house beat”, it’s an impending embolism…

  6. Tsar Nicholas says:

I did a double take when I read this post. A female Orthodox Jew who’s a conservative Republican?? Hmm. Young Mindy very well could be one of a kind.

You’ve got to admire her chutzpah. She’s got balls. That said, however, Mindy made a fundamental mistake, but it has nothing to do with her Website nor her interest in politics. Mindy’s mistake was going off to law school. Hopefully for her sake it won’t ruin her career before it even commences.

Doesn’t even come close to being worst ever.

    We have georgehutchins.com for that.

  8. legion says:

@Tsar Nicholas: I thought that was kind of odd myself… my wife is Jewish, and she would naturally tend towards the more (big ‘C’) Conservative side, but we go to a Reform congregation because she can’t stomach the way they treat women in that part of the faith. Is New York Judaism really that different?

There was a city council race I was trying to sell a media package to, in Prince George county. I thought I had it in the bag when I saw how atrocious the candidate’s website was.

It was a combination of the candidates favorite color–hot pink–with the state flag of Maryland.

In case you don’t understand how bad of a combination that would be: http://www.50states.com/flag/image/nunst032.gif

Unfortunately candidate Meyer’s site is unavailable so I can see if hers was truly worse–it appears the servers are overloaded from traffic.

  10. CSK says:

You’re right, Matt, about http://www.georgehutchins.com. It’s enough to bring on grand mal.

I was a bit surprised that Ms. Meyer’s website didn’t have a Teddy bear lurking somewhere. Or maybe a miniature poodle with a rhinestone collar.

@Tsar Nicholas: A license to practice law is a license to steal!

    @Tsar Nicholas: Don’t discourage her…

(Will there ever be an edit function on this site that lasts more than 5 minutes?)

Thank god flashblock stops terrible music like that.

EDIT : oh god it’s the sexy and I know it bass line..
