US Embassy Staff in Caracas Injured at Strip Club

Via the BBC:  US embassy staff hurt in Caracas strip club shooting

Two US embassy officials have been injured in a shooting after a brawl at a nightclub in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, police said.

The incident reportedly took place at the Antonella 2012 Club, a pole dancing bar in the Chacao neighbourhood.

The best part of the story is the explanation:

The US confirmed two of its embassy staff in Caracas were being treated for non-threatening injuries after an "incident at some sort of social spot".

“So, where did you go tonight, dear?”

‘Oh, it was just some sort of social spot.”

I think the Republicans need to launch an investigation into why Obummer didn’t send a Special Ops team, with C-130 support, to extricate our boys…

OTOH, I’m not sure extricate is the appropriate word….

  8. Andre Kenji says:

I don´t think that they were strippers. Strip Clubs are popular in a certain country in North America where prostitution is illegal, but they are rare in Latin America. Some brothels have poles or even striptease/live sex shows, but strip clubs only are relatively rare.
