DRAFT BIDEN

Politics1 reports

There are already a few professional looking web sites urging Dems to draft retired Army General Wesley Clark for President — and Clark continues to flirt with the idea. Now, we can add a Draft Joe Biden for President site to the mix. Democratic campaign consultant Jack O’Toole of South Carolina created and maintains the site — which is trying to prod Senator Biden into the race.

US News has an article in their 7/14 issue indicating Biden appears likely to run and likes his chances of winning.

In the immortal words of GWB: Bring ’em on. Hillary Clinton, and maybe Al Gore, are the only Democrats I can think of with the stature to get in the race this late and still raise enough money to compete.
