Hurricane Rita seems to be as bad as feared. Let’s hope that my last post on dueling ideologies is meaningful in the morning — ie, that the damage here in human terms is minimal and that a discussion about day-to-day political shenanigans isn’t trivial by comparison to what nature may wreak.
