Following the Election Returns

Back in the olden days of 2004, we used to “live blog” election returns.  For you youngsters, this consisted of constantly updating a single post with a series of snarky comments and updates gleaned from various web and on-air sources.  Nowadays, Twitter makes that rather superfluous. Or, even more superfluous.

At any rate, I’m “live-blogging” the returns on my Twitter feed @drjjoyner until I get bored and go to bed.

Additionally, for those like me who can no longer tolerate the inanity of TV talking heads, I commend to you the snapshot sites put together by NPR and Google. They’re updating quickly and save you the blather.

It looks like Joe Walsh is going down to defeat in Illinois.

Good. He is a nasty little deadbeat of a man who hasn’t demonstrated much understanding about women’s biology.

I am at my local Chili’s watching ABC NBC NPR + Fox. They all have different EC totals.
More importantly the Orlando Magic are stuffing the basket and lead the Bulls by 3 late 3rd 1/4.
    Go Bulls!

Fox is easily the most amusing to watch tonight
