Happy 230th Birthday, Marines

It’s the 230th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps. Most of them don’t look a day over 19, either!

Donald Sensing shares the proud news that his son, LCpl. Stephen Sensing of 1st Platoon, 2nd Amphibious Assault Vehicle Company, 2nd Marine Division is featured on the Corp’s website.

Dr. Demarche got his birthday wishes in a day early.

Eric Siegmund gives them a big “Ooh-Rah!”

Frank J celebrates “230 Years of Kill’n For’ners.”

Michelle Malkin notes a new USMC commemorative stamp’s debut and offers other links.

Jeff Quinton celebrates “230 years of Marine Special Ops.”

Laughing Wolf offers a tribute to “Absent Friends.”

Joel Leggett will be watching a John Wayne movie and having an adult beverage.

Correction: I originally mistyped the headline as “130th” vice 230th.
