LIGHT BLOGGING

I had intended to get some blogging in yesterday afternoon but unexpected events intervened. The flight to Atlanta went well but we got into a traffic accident a mere couple miles down the road, wherein our car ran off the road and did a 3/4 flip, ultimately landing on the passenger side where I was sitting. Thankfully, no one was injured but my mother’s car was destroyed.

Dealing with the wrecker, the insurance company, trying to get a one-way rental car without a reservation on the day before Thanksgiving, and then returning the rental car so that we didn’t get charged for three days (the office in Anniston is closed today) took the next several hours.

Blogging will be light today, as I will be diverted with traditional Thanksgiving activities, notably consuming mass quantities of food and watching NFL games.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

    Oh James,

That sucks about your Mother’s car, but I’m glad to hear that nobody was hurt. Were the roads slick?

I hope your holiday gets better.
