MAKING PROGRESS?

Brent Scowcroft and Arnold Kanter contend in a NYT Op-Ed that we have had A Surprising Success on North Korea. Their argument strikes me as a bit strained, but the basic point is that we have not yet given in the nuclear blackmail and have gotten China on board in a semi-constructive role. I guess that’s something.

(No word, by the way, if Arnold is any kin to Paul of Jefferson Starship fame.)
