OTB on Fox Live (with Juan Williams)

I’m appearing again on “Power Play” on Fox Live from 11:40 to noon Eastern. Juan Williams wil be guest hosting. Last night’s foreign policy debate will likely be the main topic.

UPDATE: Here’s the video:

The whole segment was 20 minutes; this is the second portion, about 7 minutes, and focuses on the domestic angle.

  1. Tano says:

Glad to see that the TP is giving up on this election!

I almost feel sorry for them – what does it say about a movement that gets so much media attention, and so much internal traction within one of the major parties – that they cannot seem to put forth a credible national candidate. And the larger party cannot seem to find someone of their own to at least satisfy the movement.

  2. Just nutha ig'rant cracker says:

“we need to realize that we can’t keep on spending more than we bring in.”

“we are going to vote our pocketbooks.”

Am I the only person in the world who sees those two statements as mutually exclusive?

  3. PogueMahone says:

Juan Williams: “Who do you think can take on Obama?”

    TPexpress: “I don’t know.”

    OTB: “No one.”

    Check please.

  4. James Joyner says:

@PogueMahone: I think Romney will be the nominee and, given current conditions, it’ll come down to a couple of Rust Belt states (Ohio and Pennsylvania). There’s a very good chance Romney wins. But he’s not the ideal spokesman for the Republican Party, much less my personal belief set. Ronald Reagan was the last time that happened.

  5. Robert Prather says:

    James,

You did well, but that woman got too much time. I wanted to hear you talk some more. Nice to see OTB getting more exposure of this sort. Well done.

  6. James Joyner says:

@Robert Prather: Thanks. I’ve been on Chris’ show a few times and they usually pair me with another foreign policy wonk. It was great to meet Juan Williams, who was quite gracious, but it wasn’t a great lineup for this discussion.
