Sarah Palin Advises Christine O’Donnell To “Speak Through Fox News”

From last night’s O’Reilly Factor:

PALIN: She’s going to have to learn very quickly to dismiss what some of her handlers want. Remember what happened to me in the VP. […]

So she’s going to have to learn that, yes, very quickly. She’s going to have to dismiss that, go with her gut, get out there, speak to the American people. Speak through FOX News and let the Independents who are tuning in to you, let them know what it is that she stands for, the principles behind her positions.

Not speak to the citizens of Delaware, but speak through a cable network.

Well, that’s what Sarah’s been doing since 2008. And Sharron Angle’s own media strategy is pretty much the same. So, how about a trifecta ?

I think she should make frequent appearances on  the Comedy Central news channel so she can reach the rest of you 🙂

Um….I suspect he’s trusting Fox News. Isn’t that where the video came from?

  4. Narciso,

Are you suggesting that Palin didn’t say what the video says she said ?

  5. Trumwill says:

That’s a great strategy… for the primary. If she can’t handle multiple news sources, though, I doubt that she can handle the duties of a senator.

  6. wr says:

If Tea Partiers are so proud of their ideology, why do they refuse to talk to anyone except Fox, where they will never be asked a hard question? If they believe that the vast majority agrees with them, why do they continue to hide their views?

Not to worry, we’ll catch her on SNL.

Yes Doug – and you somehow forgot to mention that  O’Reilly began this thread of the interview with pointing out to Sarah Palin that O’Donnell should be taking his (O’Reilly’s) invitation for an interview, and how that might reflect inexperience in getting her message out.

Palin’s response mentioning FOX was in reply to O’Reilly prefacing the discussion with why O’Donnell wasn’t coming on his FOX program.   No more, no less.

As usual, you strain to make a negative out of virtually nothing when it comes to a conservative.  Do you not ever get tired of twisting, coloring, and misdirecting people towards non-existent “issues?”    You’re  a true cyclops – blind in the left eye.

  9. sam says:

Well, less than one hour later, she showed up on Hannity. Does that mean the The Oster and Hanjob will being having a spat?

If she can read a bill before voting to pass it I will be happy:)

Not to worry, we’ll catch her on SNL.

Sam just because you are like me and get both sides of the story from more then one news source there is no need to brag…..
