Veterans Day Traffic Jam

I’ve got the day off for Veterans Day, which isn’t particularly unusual since my job is with the Defense Department. What is odd, though, is that the local schools are in session today.

I already did a Veterans Day linkfest, so you can link your thoughts on the occasion there. If you’re blogging about something else, though, this is the post for you. Link away!

In deciding how to feel about the Avian Flu, we’ve settled on alarm combined with morbid acceptance. It’s like realizing the house is surrounded by Zombies and they’ve cut off the phone liines. Hey, plague happens.
