The History Of Earth As A 24-Hour Clock
This is a very cool infographic that shows just how old the Earth itself actually is:
Even the simplest forms of life didn’t exist until 4am. Sexual Reproduction has only been around since about 6pm. The Dinosaurs didn’t live and die off until late evening, and Humanity itself has been around for roughly 1 minute, 17 seconds.

Yes, this is the proof that Almighty God created the earth just for us. He wanted the planet to be really well-aged before putting Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Like a fine wine.
Humans are about 50,000 years old…+/-. So if 50K years is the equivilant of 1M:45S on the clock…then according to Creationists who claim the world is 6000 years old…the day doesn’t even start until about 11:59:47…or about 12.5 Seconds before Midnight.
I’m just sayin’…
A good graphic. My recent Astronomy textbook showed a football field, representing the lifespan of the universe. The start of mankind was less than a centimeter from the ‘end zone’ (i.e., present-day). Proof that the NFL draft has signifigance.
The American Museum of Natural History in New York has a Cosmic Walkway depicting the history of the universe over the course of 360 feet. Human history is the width of a human hair.
Well at least we’re here for the party!

Fashionably late !
I have a minor in Geology and it used to drive everyone crazy when I would say things like “only 2 million years ago.”
