“Alec has walked out of the studio”

As the saying goes, When you can’t take the heat…

HANNITY: Once and for all you need to be challenged. You want to call our vice president a terrorist – fine. You want to talk about stoning people to death, say it on my program. If you want to be irresponsible and call our president a mass murderer while he’s at war leading troops in harm’s way …

BALDWIN: And what are you gonna do about it, Sean Hannity?

HANNITY: You don’t have the courage to answer questions.

BALDWIN: And what are you gonna do? And what are you going to do about it, Sean Hannity. If I come on your program, what are you going to do?

LEVIN: He’s going to show that you have a two digit IQ – that’s what he’s gonna do.

I try not to take the political opinions of celebreties in general very seriously, and Baldwin’s no exception. But Hannity and Levin both come off sounding like Beavis and Butthead in this. I mean really – “butt-boy”? “two-digit IQ”? Baldwin’s just another ivory-tower actor; his schtick doesn’t surprise me, but Hannity and Levin are supposed to be taken seriously as professionals? They’re immature children.

  2. maclal says:

Frankly, Whitman should’ve ended the call with Hannity and Levin. Baldwin was on his show and for his listeners. I blame Whitman for this.

Why should Baldwin have to sit there when he’s there to be on Whitman’s show; not to be interviewed by Hannity.

  3. jacob says:

So Kate, who are you trying to impugn here…the born liar hannity or a Hollywood celebrity who actually said something many agree with.

If you disagree that the current president is a war mongering mass murderer then you would certainly have to agree that he is
    1. a liar
    2. an incompetent
    3. a moron
    4. the worst president ever
    5. all the above.

Take your pick and feel free to add to the list. Neither ignorant sean (who cares more for his ratings than truth) nor anybody else on the right can change the obvious truth about the monkey boy we have for president.

  4. wavemaker says:

wow, jacob, you really, honestly believe that the President is a “mass murderer?”

You’re just as loony as Baldwin.

  5. Christopher says:

Alec Baldwin is still a jerk who makes GOOD movies. But that’s the point: stick to movies Alec!

  6. SgtFluffy says:

Hannity has always had an attack mentality as has Mark Levin, but the Left has them also and they are immortalized as Brave and Courageous while the Rights “bomb Throwers” are mean and full of hate. I say kudos to the both of them for calling Alec out.

  7. Roger Ridenour says:

“Mass Murderer?” Maybe not. Use whatever diction you prefer to describe a man who initiated a war of choice that has so far killed 10s of thousands of innocent civilians. It’s all the same to the dead innocents. They’re not coming back.

  8. BigDog says:

I’d like to see Sean’s reaction if he were in the middle of one of his Freedom concerts and Clooney and Baldwin come out and double team him. What Sean and Levin did was a cheap shot. Whitman allowing it to continue is unforgivable. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has trouble booking guests after this. Sean and Levin came off like to immature 13 year olds who broke into daddy’s liquor cabinet and started making imitation Beavis and Butthead prank calls. Shameful. They lost their grip on reality.
