Well, she violated the terms of the not for commercial license (and later realized it, and fixed the problem it seems and it’s all ok).
And to tell you the honest truth, I’m glad Six Apart stood up for themselves and sent her a letter. At least now we all have a good idea by what they mean by commercial (i.e. being a blog on a commercial site and/or charging to set up that blog)
I like MT a lot, but their licensing terms make my brain hurt (and as Richard Bennett noted, they’re probably illegal and unenforcable as currently written).

It makes some sense although, actually, she wasn’t charging for MT setup–just for server space and bandwidth. The MT install was just a bonus.
