Down to One PoliBlog

Steven Taylor reports that, with only several days of hemming and hawing, the Seattle Times has decided to change its name from “PoliBlog” to something yet to be determined.

Anyone with a blog whose name they don’t want them to use should probably write them and mention that fact, lest they switch to it inadvertantly. They apparently don’t have access to Google there.

I’ve always thought “Slate” would make a good name for a Seattle-based news/opinion site. Maybe they should try that.

If they change it to something resembling blogoSFERICS and I raise a ruckus, it might almost double my traffic for a day or two.

  2. Ditto…though I think the chances of them naming it to LegalXXX are fairly remote…

If they go for “Little Miss Attila” or “Attila Girl,” I’m going to organize a boycott by–ahem–ALL THREE of my regular readers.

I suspect they are very unlikely to name it “On The Third Hand,”. But our 3 readers don’t read the Seattle Times anyway, so I doubt anyone would notice if they did.
