Our Sierra Nevada mountains here contain surprises like this. There have been reports of old planes with pilots in the seat sitting on the floor of various mountain lakes. It’s almost a campfire story for the Boy Scouts around here. The area where they found this guy takes several days to reach on foot, and it’s 13,700 feet, on a glacier that has been there for 10,000 years. We’ll see what else rolls out if it melts.
