WEIRD SEARCHES, REDUX

OTB is currently the #1 result on MSN Search: destiny stahl nude. I’m not sure why that is. More to the point, I have no idea why anyone would want to see Destiny Stahl nude. Although I’m hoping Mike Price got at least that for his troubles.

I apparently rank high on “rick santorum nude” as well, courtesy of this post:

Whoever it is that’s searching for “pretty 13 year old angola nude” should seek professional help. Immediately. If you come back, I’ll sick Rick Santorum on you.

Sigh.

If I’m going to post any nude pictures–and odds are pretty good that I won’t–I promise that it will not be of Rick Santorum, Destiny Stahl, or any of a wide host of people whom I have no desire to see, well, nude. If you want to see Destiny Shahl nude, go visit Hastyman at Bemusement Park, which I have dubbed “The official Destiny Stahl website.”

Meanwhile, OTB regular Jen is having her own problems with perverted searches.

Update: Hastyman assures us that he does not in fact have any nude pictures of Destiny Shahl or, indeed, anyone else despite the fact that he’s #4 on the Google list for the search “nude pictures of Destiny Stahl.” Go figure. Indeed, he’s a preacher–not even a Catholic priest–so would in fact have nothing to do with nude photographs of any strippers. Sorry for the confusion. So, I repeat, do not go visit Hastyman at Bemusement Park if you’re looking for any nude pictures of Destiny Stahl. He doesn’t have any.

People really ought to learn to put quotation marks around their search strings…

    Might help.

Hey, thanks for the shout out!

I think a lot of people just want to see if there any pictures of certain people nude. Not that they actually want to see them nude. Or maybe they do. Who knows…

I don’t mind those that are searching for nudie shots. I am a little weirded out by those searching for pr0n and use my name as part of the search string. Ew. Apparently there are a lot of Jens in pr0n…or maybe there’s one really popular Jen in pr0n.

What I am curious about, is how you learned about such in the first place? Surely someone told you about that, as I cannot imagine you spend all day running different combinations of words through MSN’s search engine just to see if your URL pops up, so someone else must have run that search — hoping to see Destiny Stahl nude. So who was it? Inquiring minds want to know. I know for sure it was not me, because I do not even know who Destiny Stahl is . . .

    Of course, now I am curious . . . I wonder what I would get if I ran . . . . . . . . .

    Tiger,

Indeed, I sit up all day Googling myself. Hmm. That doesn’t sound right, especially in this context….

No, I check my referer logs on SiteMeter. (Check the bottom of my site, if you’re curious.) I can see where the last 100 visitors came from.

After Dr. Joyner’s posts, I’m going to guess that a lot of hit-starved bloggers are going to make it a point to use the following terms as often as as they can: “free,” “nude,” “sex” & “britney spears.”
