About the Author: Rodney has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, back from when people knew what Hollerith cards were, and actually used the toggle switches on the front of computers. I guess if you showed the censored photographs of the flag-draped coffins of the fallen on Memorial Day, that would be... Unveiled Reality. Can't have that.
Rodney, he's a Master Chief, not a Chief. He may well take the President up on the rear admiral offer (although since he's an Aviation Machinist Mate and not a submariner, that point is very much in question), but...he's a Master Chief (ADCM).
Sorry to pick the nit, but it's what I do. :)
Thanks Boyd, It did say 'MasterChief' in the original caption at yahoo news, one of the reasons I chose to use the familiar term 'Chief' instead of 'Buddy' or 'Pal', but the correction is noted.

I apologize again for my anal retentive comment, but these things are important to Master Chiefs. :)
...and probably immensely important to any subordinate that inadvertantly refers to them as Chief.
