Aliens Take Over California GOP

Steve Benen passes along the latest example of foreigners “doing jobs Americans aren’t willing to do.” California is apparently having a heck of a time finding qualified native-born Republicans. You may recall the their governor is an Austrian-born Republican. Now, the state GOP has had to file for an H-1B visa (thus certifying that no qualified American was available to do the job) to bring in Christopher Matthews, a Canadian citizen, to be their deputy political director. Matthews was hired by Michael Kamburowski, the party chief operating officer, who’s an Australian.

Not to worry, though, the good jobs are still going to Americans. Party chairman Ron Nehring and several other party leaders are citizens.

The Republican Party cannot find US citizens for hire?

There may be more than one kind of field work Americans are not willing to do, more than one way Americans are unwilling to dirty their hands.

Another reason why the Republican Party of California is irrelevant to politics in that state.

It is also a sign that anyone interested in a career in politics will not be going into Republican politics.

Supredestroyer, anyone interested in a “career in politics” should be stopped at all costs.
