Charlie Crist’s Incredibly Bad First Pitch

This pretty much qualifies as the worst First Pitch attempt by a politician ever, Charlie Crist at yesterdays Rangers v. Rays ALDS Game Two:

Pretty much a metaphor for his entire campaign, actually.

    Actually, I’ve seen far worse. Crist’s pitch actually made it to the plate – and beyond. He fully passes the “macho-enough to reach the plate” test. He just has no control.

    Now he may not be as prominent a politician as a governor, but Cincinnati mayor Mark Mallory seems to have this prize firmly in hand.

    The great irony is that one of the worst attempts of all time – irrespective of category – was made by what may have been one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century.
