Charlie Crist’s Incredibly Bad First Pitch
This pretty much qualifies as the worst First Pitch attempt by a politician ever, Charlie Crist at yesterdays Rangers v. Rays ALDS Game Two:
Pretty much a metaphor for his entire campaign, actually.

Actually, I’ve seen far worse. Crist’s pitch actually made it to the plate – and beyond. He fully passes the “macho-enough to reach the plate” test. He just has no control.
Now he may not be as prominent a politician as a governor, but Cincinnati mayor Mark Mallory seems to have this prize firmly in hand.

I’m with Tano. You don’t expect accuracy so long as it reaches the plate.
Besides, Ricky Vaughn threw worse!
The great irony is that one of the worst attempts of all time – irrespective of category – was made by what may have been one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century.
