Chris Christie Threatens Suicide If 2012 Speculation Doesn’t Stop

At some point, reporters are going to have to stop asking Chris Christie about this:

New Jersey GOP Gov. Chris Christie said he is growing frustrated by having to constantly deny that he is running for president.

“Short of suicide, I don’t really know what I’d have to do to convince you people that I’m not running,” Christie told reporters at a press conference Wednesday in Trenton.

If you’re keeping count, this is the fifth time since July that Christie has emphatically said he isn’t running. I’m think he’s getting tired of it.

I’d suggest that he say something so off-the-wall crazy that it would automatically make him ineligible for consideration in the eyes of the public…

During 2005 and well into 2006, Obama repeatedly denied he had any intention of running for president in the ’08 election. But he never talked about suicide.
