DEPRESSING CONFERENCE: I’m afraid this press conference isn’t going to help persuade anyone who was previously on the fence or opposed to the war to jump on board. Even by Bush’s low standards, this performance is just plain awful. He seems to just be spouting pre-programmed lines nearly at random, with no passion or eloquence whatever.
