I have implemented Kevin Aylward’s Technorati Link Cosmos tracker on OTB. I’d prefer an API that actually put the results on the main page, like the TrackBack enhancement I got from Kevin does, but this lower-tech version has the virtue of simplicity.

There actually is a Technorati API – you can get all of the functionaily that is available on the site via API calls, and plugins already exist for most major blogging tools. Go to to get more details, or drop us a line at fe******@te********.com and I’ll be happy to point the way to the full API documentation.

Thanks for using and enjoying Technorati!

Thanks, Dave. I’ll have to fool around with it a bit when I’ve got more time. I inserted the code into my template but didn’t get it to work. I tried to install a different Technorati API the other day and had trouble as well.
