Robert Prather notes that it is “a yawner.” I must concur. Indeed, I’ve been watching reruns on my TiVo and hadn’t even turned on any news coverage to see the inevitable.

They also have a banner headline up–going to the same article–Edwards Plans to Drop Out of Race.

Sigh. It’s hard to be a political junkee with such slim fare.

    I’m doing semi-satirical election-night blogging, and with 24% of precincts statewide reporting, Edwards is leading by about 4,700 votes. Kerry has only been ahead in the counting a couple of times, briefly.

    A lot does depend on which precincts remain to be counted, of course.
