Hillary Dissents

Matthew Yglesias on Hillary Clinton: “She’s not refusing to admit’ anything; she’s just saying what she thinks.”

I think that’s right. Unfortunately for her, what she thinks is about 180 degrees out from what most of the Democratic nominating electorate thinks on the most important issue.

Look, Hillary will win by sticking to her guns, making a good push, and having one of the best political individuals of our time (Bill)..

It’s still a year away, and I think she’ll be able to duplicate what she achieved in New York.

Whether or not she’ll win in the primaries, is still a question, but you have to concede at the present moment, that she’s still in the lead.

It is ironic by sticking to this position Hillary will have a far easier time, politically, as President to pull the troops out of Iraq than will any other candidate, from either party.

Still, I think she should realize that voting to give any president, and especially Bush, the cover he desired to wage an illegal, immoral and unjust war on another country is always the wrong thing to do. She really needs to understand that is how the American people see it and until she sees it too she will be out of step with the vast majority of America.

Nick, she’ll win by playing the dreaded “Politics of personal destruction” to wipe Obama off the map. it’s about the only thing the Clintons do well.

    Well, that and perjuring themselves.
