PERSPECTIVE
Brent has quickly reordered his priorities after learning that his father is quite ill:
Needless to say, I canceled holiday travel plans and I’ll be spending a lot of time at the hospital this week. Blogging is on hold for now and maybe permanently. I’m no longer inspired, I’m not a writer and parroting the news is getting old. My blog has served it’s purpose, but I think The Ville has run it’s course. Besides, blogging isn’t really important. It’s time to help my father and get to know him better – we have a lot of catching up to do.
Puts me in mind of a book by the late Lewis Grizzard, Don’t Forget to Call Your Mama. I Wish I Could Call Mine.
