Delaware Senate: Coons Won Debate, Maintains Lead Over O’Donnell

Not surprisingly, two new polls out today show that Wednesday’s debate doesn’t seem to have had any impact on the Delaware Senate race.

First, a post-debate poll from the University of Delaware shows voters saying that Coons won the debate by nearly a 2-to-1 margin. The poll also shows only 2% of those surveyed saying that the debate caused them to change their mind about how they were supporting in the race.

Second, a new Rasmussen poll shows Coons maintaining the same eleven point lead he had three weeks ago. The poll also shows Coons with a 54/39 favorable/unfavorable rating, while O’Donnell has a 39/56 favorable/unfavorable rating.

This race is over.
