Big Gay Jesus
Gay Bishop Robinson Ignites Furious Response after Jesus Comments
[Bishop Gene Robinson] commented that Jesus was an unmarried, “non-traditional man” who did not uphold family values, “travelled with a bunch of men” and enjoyed an especially close relationship with one of his disciples.
I suppose this gives a whole new interpretation to the passage “turn the other cheek.” Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Dude....just, dude.
This is not going to do much to keep the churches ready to bolt, and may encourage further problems.
Gene is simply an idiot.
Gang, it's called creating God in your own image.
As for the rest... Postulate a minister, who divrces his wife and leaves his kids behind, for another woman. Would such a minister be made a Bishop?
I doubt it.
Now, let's postulate that with a small change.
Say the minister leaves his wife and kids for another MAN.
That's our situation with V. Gene Robinson.
So this guy is turning out to be controversial? Who'd have thought?
There actually are bishops who have been divorced. Not much is said about them. It's part of being human. Not that divorce is something to be aspired to, but sinfulness is a part of the human condition. Find me a bishop who has never sinned--or a Pope, and I'll show you some swampland I have for sale in Florida.
